I team up with the wedding planner. She does all the logistics/rehearsal for the processional/recessional.
I do only the elements of the ceremony beginning with the couple’s arrival under the chuppah, ending with smashing three glass and cuing the music and recessional.
One thing we always do is start with positioning the wedding party at the front in the order they’ll be standing, then running the recessional, then the processional, then the ceremony.
Its a lot easier when everyone knows exactly where they’re headed.
